Palm Tree Mezuzah

This designed Mezuzah combines the manipulation of digital media with traditional silversmith techniques.

The Palm Tree Mezuzah features a photograph taken in the the central Israeli coastal plain, etched with acid onto a column of silver-nickel.

The palm represents peace and plenty, and is one of the Four Species of Sukkot, the palm may also symbolize the Tree of Life in Kabbalah.

The "Shomer Daltot Israel", which means the protector of our gates, is imprinted on the mezuzah.
